Automechanika Vietnam: A Smaller Show, A Consistent Approach

We recently attended Automechanika Vietnam. In the interest of transparency — a value we try to bring to everything we publish here — we'll say plainly that this event's location and scale did not position it as a primary venue for reaching international OEM/ODM decision-makers, particularly compared to larger regional platforms.

That said, our approach to any show is the same regardless of its size: treat every visitor as a potential long-term partner, and make sure the conversation happens. Our team engaged with each attendee who stopped by, and interest was notably concentrated around two product lines — battery chargers and inverters — with a good number of visitors asking specific technical questions about specs and use cases.

We view trade shows as one input among many in business development, not a guaranteed outcome. Automechanika Vietnam reinforced a lesson we already apply across our work: consistent effort compounds, even when the environment isn't ideal. We'll continue prioritizing shows and channels that align more directly with the international brand owners we aim to serve, while applying the same standard of engagement everywhere we show up.
